Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, EDR) 24/7 to detect and analyze cyber threats
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to protect sensitive data and systems
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on incident response experience
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Experience with forensic analysis tools (Wireshark, EnCase)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
