As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, ensuring the integrity of our systems and data. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities for rapid career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and countermeasures through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in a SOC environment
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and system administration
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
