Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop and execute security playbooks for APT, ransomware, and DDoS scenarios
- Collaborate with forensic teams during security incident investigations
- Generate executive security reports and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Lead phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Optimize security controls using MITRE ATT&CK framework
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of GDPR/CCPA compliance requirements
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
