Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches using EnCase and FTK tools
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks, risk assessments)
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to implement zero-trust architecture
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing using Nessus and Burp Suite
- Lead tabletop exercises for incident response preparedness
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on SOC experience with SIEM implementation
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Expert knowledge of NIST CSF and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on-call rotation
