Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and analyze threat intelligence feeds
- Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate incident response
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and mitigation strategies
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance audits
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and harden systems
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and network security tools
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
