Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for endpoint/network intrusions
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level security reports and remediation plans
- Stay current with emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK framework updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows systems administration
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
