Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to optimize uptime
- Resolve hardware/software issues with Cisco, Juniper, and VMware environments
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network configurations and create technical SOPs
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure deployments
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for enterprise clients across 50+ sites
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or CompTIA Network+ certification
- 3+ years of enterprise-level network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/Junos and VMware ESXi
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN architecture
- Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible
- Valid CCNA or equivalent certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
