Responsibilities
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to incidents within SLA
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Analyze malware and anomalous activities using forensic tools
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and network security tools
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts during critical incidents
