Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk/SIEM platforms
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents
- Develop and implement threat mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities
- Generate executive security dashboards and reports
- Manage security access controls and IAM systems
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience
- 3+ years SOC analyst or threat hunting experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
- Proficient in Python/PowerShell for automation
- Ability to work rotating 24/7 on-call shifts
