Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Investigate and remediate security breaches with minimal downtime.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical issues to stakeholders.
