Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response, forensics, and threat hunting operations
- Develop and implement security controls for network and cloud environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Create executive-level security incident reports and remediation plans
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC)
- Proficiency in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
