Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate rapid incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
- Comply with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common protocols
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
