Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement remediation
- Develop and maintain threat detection rules and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
