Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations on security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability management programs
- Perform penetration testing and security assessments across networks
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GIAC preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security protocols
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
