Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and coordinate remediation
- Develop and implement security controls to prevent future threats
- Generate detailed incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with network and system teams to enhance security posture
- Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerability trends
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills and incident response experience
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and handle high-pressure situations
