Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using forensic methodologies
- Implement vulnerability management protocols and patch management strategies
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security controls
- Develop and maintain security documentation and policies
- Respond to alerts with rapid incident response procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
