Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security posture across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments
- Document security incidents, create detailed incident response reports, and recommend preventive measures
- Stay current with emerging threats and technologies through continuous research and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection, or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in threat investigation
