Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud/on-prem environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable security recommendations
- Document security procedures and maintain audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and threat detection tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
