Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Incident response coordination, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and compile detailed reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security role
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
