Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist employees via phone, email, and in-person with daily IT-related questions and issues.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and monitor IT help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Hardware & Software Support: Troubleshoot and resolve common computer hardware malfunctions, printer issues, and software installation problems.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions for employees on company software and security protocols.
- Network Assistance: Assist in maintaining a stable and secure network environment for office operations.
- Asset Management: Help with the inventory and setup of new hardware for incoming staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or Computer Science is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required. Previous customer service or tech support internship is a bonus.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and web browsers.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot common issues logically and patiently.
