Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous activity
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across network infrastructure
- Lead incident response procedures including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence sources
- Assist with compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to work on-site in Jacksonville
