Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement threat detection scripts and automation
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports for stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
- Participate in penetration testing and security audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC background
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IDS/IPS
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and TCP/IP
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Python or scripting experience for automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
