Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident triage
- Lead security incident response lifecycle from identification through eradication and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with network teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Manage security tool integrations including EDR, firewalls, and cloud security platforms
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM implementation
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts during critical incidents
- Excellent written communication for security documentation and reporting
