Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and threat hunting activities
- Develop and implement security playbooks for zero-day vulnerabilities and emerging threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure NIST/CIS compliance across cloud and hybrid environments
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and incident reports
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical infrastructure
- Stay ahead of threat intelligence through continuous research and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM and incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation and scripting
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat actor TTPs
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native tooling
- Ability to thrive under pressure during active security incidents
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
