Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with NIST frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security policies/procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture
- Prepare incident response reports and executive briefings
- Implement zero-trust security principles
- Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (NIST, FISMA, GDPR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure incident response scenarios
