Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using Splunk and AlienVault SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise infrastructure
- Develop and maintain SOC playbooks for incident response and threat hunting
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and threat intelligence reports
- Lead security awareness training sessions across 15+ client organizations
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for security automation and log analysis
- Deep understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting and documentation
