Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM tools for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Investigate security breaches, document findings, and implement remediation actions
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security tools
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Security+)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption, and threat intelligence
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and documentation skills
