In this role, you will act as the first line of defense against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and respond to incidents efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively secure networks.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, managing the lifecycle from detection to resolution.
- Configure, manage, and tune firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN appliances.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (NIST, ISO).
- Document security procedures and maintain accurate incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network security, SOC operations, or IT security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender).
