Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations of security incidents
- Develop and implement security monitoring dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security procedures and incident response playbooks
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support for critical incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations center (SOC) environment
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent written communication and incident reporting skills
