The Role:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the first line of defense against cyberattacks. You will monitor our security infrastructure, investigate anomalies, and ensure our data remains uncompromised. This is an immediate hire opportunity for someone ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to detect potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and security patch management.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches according to established Incident Response (IR) protocols.
- Manage and configure firewall rules, VPNs, and access controls to ensure network integrity.
- Enforce compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) and conduct regular security audits.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of servers and endpoints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong experience with SIEM technologies (Splunk, QRadar, or Azure Sentinel) and EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance regulations (PCI-DSS, NIST).
- CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification preferred.
