Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
- Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and optimize cloud resources to reduce costs and improve speed.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, GDPR).
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and software development teams to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to networking, storage, and compute services.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Administrator.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS (preferred) or Azure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPCs.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- IaC: Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
