Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for large language models to achieve precise, contextually relevant outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI research, product, engineering) to integrate prompt engineering solutions into production systems
- Develop systematic testing frameworks for prompt efficacy, iterating rapidly based on performance metrics
- Document prompt strategies, best practices, and technical specifications for engineering teams
- Research and implement emerging prompt engineering techniques (e.g., few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting)
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design principles and ethical AI implementation
- Contribute to product roadmap by identifying opportunities for AI-driven automation through innovative prompting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA)
