Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless network systems.
- Perform routine network maintenance, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts to ensure maximum uptime.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for audit trails.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network upgrades.
- Ensure physical security of server rooms and network closets.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment and cabling materials.
