The Role:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will bridge the gap between development and operations. You will own the cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, efficient, and secure while supporting agile development cycles.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- CI/CD Implementation: Build and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM policies, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and performance metrics, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers and system administrators to integrate new features into the production environment seamlessly.
- Cost Management: Analyze and optimize cloud spending to maximize ROI and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Programming: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- IaC: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Load Balancers).
