Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency through continuous monitoring and automation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools to streamline deployment processes
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans with RTO/RPO compliance
- Lead cloud migration projects while ensuring minimal business disruption
- Document architecture decisions and maintain updated technical documentation
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and associated services
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization technologies
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in complex cloud environments
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
