Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security (FinOps best practices)
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud-native architectures
- Develop monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for production cloud environments
- Document architectures and create runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in network security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR)
- Experience with monitoring tools and incident response protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
