Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable AWS/Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency through continuous monitoring and automation
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms while ensuring zero-downtime transitions
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline deployments
- Implement robust security controls including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain high-availability systems with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Document architecture blueprints and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless technologies (Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices (CIS benchmarks, NIST compliance)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
