Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and mitigation strategies for ML models
- Advocate regulatory compliance with emerging AI legislation (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Design transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) implementations
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI adoption with C-suite executives
- Author corporate AI ethics policies and incident response protocols
- Collaborate with research teams on fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or tech policy
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (OECD, NIST, IEEE)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Strong background in ethical frameworks (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Experience with cross-functional teams in tech, legal, and policy domains
- Excellent written communication for policy documentation and stakeholder reports
