Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and decision-making algorithms
- Conduct risk assessments and impact evaluations for AI deployments across healthcare, finance, and public sectors
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical-by-design principles in AI development lifecycles
- Lead cross-functional working groups to establish industry-wide AI ethics standards and best practices
- Monitor global regulatory evolution (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and advise on compliance strategies
- Create educational programs and training materials for stakeholders on responsible AI implementation
- Author policy whitepapers and position papers addressing emerging ethical dilemmas in generative AI
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with specialization in AI ethics
- Minimum 5 years experience in AI governance, compliance, or responsible AI implementation
- Deep expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes and ethical frameworks (IEEE, ACM, Partnership on AI)
- Proven track record of developing ethical guidelines for high-stakes AI systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable policies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineers, legal, and product leadership
- Publishing record or demonstrable thought leadership in AI ethics or technology ethics
