You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to develop long-term technology roadmaps while ensuring our infrastructure remains at the forefront of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizon
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D and product teams
- Produce annual technology impact assessments and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Drive digital transformation initiatives across global operations
- Mentor emerging technology talent within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership roles
- Proven experience forecasting technology market shifts (2020-2025 track record required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation projects
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and Austin tech ecosystems
