Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ societal and business trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI/ML systems and human-computer interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum, bio-convergence, synthetic data)
- Translate technical innovation into market-ready products with $50M+ revenue potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with research labs and Fortune 100 innovation departments
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior engineers in speculative design thinking and ethical tech principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or Quantum Physics with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on AI ethics or emerging computing architectures
- Proven track record launching at least two enterprise-level AI/quantum products
- Deep expertise in at least three of: neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or ambient IoT
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating work on speculative tech projects (GitHub/Arxiv publication)
