- Conduct competitive analysis and market trend forecasting to identify strategic opportunities
- Manage a $50M innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for collaborative R&D
- Mentor innovation specialists and foster a culture of forward-thinking experimentation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or technology leadership with proven 5+ year roadmap execution
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AI/ML, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Track record of launching products/services with $100M+ market impact
- Certified in innovation management (e.g., ICP, CEIM) and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in market forecasting tools
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy publications
