Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology roadmap including AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop and pitch disruptive concepts to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build and lead a 12-person innovation lab with global recruitment strategy
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough methodologies
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor emerging talent through internal accelerator programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with proven track record of commercialized breakthroughs
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Successful experience scaling R&D teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
- PhD or equivalent industry recognition preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish a significant advantage
