Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain on-premise servers (Windows Server and Linux) and virtualization infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network hardware, ensuring high availability and security.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical business data.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the security team to enforce access controls, patch management, and compliance standards.
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux distributions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
