Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers and virtualization environments (VMware/KVM)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate system management using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex infrastructure issues and collaborate with development teams
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure and optimize resource utilization
- Document procedures, create runbooks, and maintain configuration management databases
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- CI/CD pipeline experience and knowledge of DevOps practices
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent practical experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and communication skills
