Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Implement and manage cloud solutions, primarily using AWS, with exposure to Azure.
- Develop and execute automated scripts (Python/Bash) to streamline IT operations and reduce manual errors.
- Enforce security best practices, including patch management, access control, and compliance audits.
- Monitor system health using tools like Nagios or Zabbix and respond proactively to alerts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software deployments and database management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 critical environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
