Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's servers, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, and user authentication systems.
- Implement and monitor network security measures, firewalls, and VPNs to protect corporate assets.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration procedures.
- Collaborate with IT support and development teams to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine system audits and performance tuning to ensure optimal operational speed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, PowerShell scripting, and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
