Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure with emphasis on cost optimization and scalability
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restores
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and server issues within SLAs
- Automate provisioning and management using Ansible/Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proven experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
