Join our dynamic IT team as a Senior System Administrator and become the backbone of our infrastructure. We're seeking a proactive expert to maintain, optimize, and secure our hybrid cloud environment while ensuring 99.9% uptime for 500+ employees. This role offers hybrid work with 3 days in our modern Arlington headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Manage Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and VMware vSphere environments
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Lambda services
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR testing
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Python scripting
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents
- Document all procedures and maintain configuration management database
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of Windows administration experience
- AWS/Azure certification (SAA or equivalent)
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy and DNS
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or SolarWinds
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Ability to lift 40lbs for hardware maintenance
