Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers (Linux and Windows Server).
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and emergency troubleshooting.
- Automate administrative tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design scalable network architecture and infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCE, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
